Head Full of Dear is a 2018 drama film directed by Til Schweiger. It is an American remake of the 2014 German picture show of the same proper noun, which Schweiger also directed and co-wrote with Hilly Martinek.

A widowed grandpa who has Alzheimer's disease is taken on a road trip to Venice by his granddaughter.

An American remake of Til Schweiger's moving-picture show Caput Full of Dear was announced in March 2018, with Schweiger directing. Nick Nolte was cast in the leading role, which Michael Douglas was initially sought for. Matt Dillon and Emily Mortimer will star as his son and girl-in-constabulary respectively.[4] [five] Jacqueline Bisset joined the cast in April.[half dozen]
Filming had commenced past June in Frg.[7] German land motion picture funding spent $5.17 millionUS on this pic; the funding was conditional on a release in Germany.[8]

During the outset two weeks, the motion-picture show grossed United states of america$65,000 in German language movie theatres. On the 2nd weekend, only 155 persons watched Head Full of Honey. In contrast, the 2014 version was the virtually successful film in German flick theaters that year, with over vii million viewers over the unabridged run time.[9]
